The Lawton Fort Sill Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) is excited to announce Nicole Jordan as the newest addition to its team. Nicole will serve as the Business Development Director, bringing her extensive expertise in design, education, and business leadership to further LEDC’s mission of fostering economic growth in the region.
A native of Walters, Oklahoma, Nicole earned her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from The University of Oklahoma and a Master’s in Education from Texas Woman’s University. She launched her professional career in Dallas, working with prominent architectural firms before founding her own design business. This entrepreneurial experience allowed her to balance her professional pursuits while raising her two children.
Nicole's career trajectory took a turn toward education, where she spent 14 years as a dedicated educator and administrator. Her blend of creative design, strategic thinking, and leadership now translates into her new role, where she focuses on national outreach to company asset managers and consultants.
"I’m thrilled to join LEDC and contribute to Lawton Fort Sill’s growth and development,” Jordan shared. “I look forward to leveraging my background to bring innovative ideas and partnerships to our community."
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys playing golf, hiking, and traveling. She’s also preparing for her next big adventure—welcoming her first grandchild.
LEDC President Brad Cooksey said, "Nicole’s diverse background and enthusiasm make her an exceptional fit for our organization. We’re excited to see how her leadership will impact our community and help us continue to attract business opportunities to the Lawton Fort Sill area.”
