Cameron University

There are dozens of colleges and universities in Oklahoma, and Lawton–Fort Sill is home to the scenic Cameron University campus. The most common degree earned at Cameron is a bachelor's degree in business administration, and both the bachelor’s and master’s programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP). Beginning in Fall 2026, Cameron University will expand its academic offerings with the addition of a new four-year Mechanical Engineering degree, further strengthening the region’s workforce pipeline in high-demand technical fields. In addition to its business and engineering programs, Cameron University holds numerous specialized accreditations and serves more than 5,000 students annually, with graduates across health, science, technology, and liberal arts disciplines. The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents oversees Cameron University.

Community Education

The university is committed to helping the community through partnerships with local businesses and the Lawton-Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce. They present educational opportunities through free seminars, distance learning, and more. The Lawton-Fort Sill Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) collaborates with the university and other area institutions to support new and existing industries by providing education and training programs.
